Joan at Parliament Hall

*NOTE dated 12/5/07. If you guys are wondering why I haven't been posting it's because some issue with blogger is not allowing me to enter new posts. I cant even open the page to post and can only edit old ones. I'm trying to solve the issue or hopefully the issue will resolve itself, but as I'm off the whole of next wk, I shall port over to another blog address if this latest annoying issue doesn't get resolved. Blogger really has too much downtime, too much even for a free service. I'll try to find something more reliable. Any recommendations?*






Met up with Joan(finally!) for her shoot and produced quite a decent result. As long as there's one she likes then that'll be good enough heh. Having met previously and failing to get the shoot done because I hadn't done enough recce work to find the location, I picked a location that would not only fit my requirements, I also made sure I knew exactly where it was. The location I settled on eventually was Parliament Hall, which is an extremely popular place for wedding photography.

I had originally planned to include large segments of the frontage of parliament hall as backdrops for the images, but the inclement weather made me decide to go for a lot more close-ups instead. I opted against the fashion style I had originally planned for and went for a lot more close-up, classic portrait work. It turned out ok in the end so I'm not complaining!

Welcome all to my new blog first of all. If you're reading this that means I have successfully done up a new blog myself! Whoopee! I just got really really bored of the old one. Anyhow, the 12-frame projects I was originally intending never quite came up, probably due to a lack of photographic discipline on my part. I've decided to fuse, in this new blog, my love for japanese animation with photography, so I will be providing reviews on various anime as I watch them(this should be at least 1 season a week) as well as still be sharing my photographs with you people. I've done up the site using various screenshots from my favourite anime series. Well actually, the ones I find more aesthetically pleasing. This time I tried to keep it more simple, the old one was a little busy i think, in photographic terms. Less is more, more is usually more, but not in this case.
